What personal data we collect and why we collect it

If you make a booking with us we will store all the information you provide indefinitely because we may need to use this information to tackle fraud or to ensure quality. The information you after provide to us while booking includes your name, the name of people you will dive with, email address, phone number, address. We will also store information about the web browser your use to make your booking. For example the version of your web browser and your IP address.

We do not store your credit/debit card number, expiration date or CVV.

If you complete the medical questionnaire we will be collect your responses to these health questions and we will store these responses indefinitely. Your IP address will be stored alongside this submission. We DO NOT link these medical responses to any additional personal information you provide to us when booking.

Cookies

One cookie is set by a website design tool which we use called Elementor. This design tool is running entirely on our server and your data is not being sent elsewhere. The cookie counts how many times you have viewed a page, but we do not do anything with this information. This cookie is required because we need to use Elementor to build our website and Elementor does not give us the option to disable this cookie.

We also store details of the names and equipment requirements for yourself and your dive buddies. This means that once you add a dive to your cart the name and equipment details for the next dive can be pre-filled for your convenience.

Components of our website that handle the shopping cart features also use cookies so we can remember which items your have added to your carts and help progress your through the checkout process.

Other cookies may be set by our third-party payment provider “Stripe” in order to facilitate payments using credit/debit cards.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website. This information is only accessible to staff here at Tank-Ha and we’re not using is for bad purposes. We use this information to see what section of our website people find interested and what areas people don’t seem to like.

We don’t sell this information to anyone else and we don’t use any information from other website to advertise to you.

We are collecting the anonymous to the medical questions and we may publish the aggregated results to see the total number of medical screening have been performed and which areas of the screening process required the diver to seek a medical evaluation from a doctor.

Who we share your data with

If you make a payment through our website then your data will be sent to “Stripe” which is a respected payment processor. We need to do this because we don’t have the ability to directly charge your card ourselves, and Stripe have the knowledge how to do this in an appropriate way.

The way in which you navigate this website will be sent to Google Analytics to allow us to understand how you have interacted with our website.

How long we retain your data

We don’t have any processes in place to remove any personal data your provide to use through the use of this website. This is mostly because we don’t know how any when we might need to data to be able to locate your order and assist you with any future queries.

What rights you have over your data

If you would like use to remove any of your personal information let us know by emailing legal@tankha.com and let us know what pieces of information your would like us to search for and remove.

It might not be possible to remove all the data you want us to remove – for example, if you have a booking with us but you haven’t yet completed your dives we will need to keep your data on our servers so we can plan for your visit.

Where we send your data

Your personal information is held on servers managed by Amazon Web Services, located in USA. Backups of our website (including your personal data) are encrypted and stored on Amazon Web Services and BackBlaze.

This website runs on a web server located in the USA and owned by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The owner of Scuba Squad Mexico S de RL de CV has a contract with AWS which includes the AWS privacy shield. The privacy shield is in place to ensure data from EU citizens is handled correctly. Medical Questionnaire

These are the core medical questions associated with PADI Discover Scuba Diving. If you need to answer YES to any of these questions you would need medical sign-off from a doctor.

This is only a quick check to help you right now. Before booking any training you should check the full medical and liability statements associated with the course.
