Direct boat service
We were the first dive center to run direct-to-Cozumel trips.
Three two-dive trips across Cozumel's reefs and walls, Playa del Carmen's seasonal bull shark site and a shallow reef, and the freshwater caverns of the cenotes.
Watch bull sharks behaving naturally at Shark Point. We do not use bait or feed the sharks, and every encounter is guided by their activity and the day's conditions.
Bull shark season typically runs from mid-November to mid-February. Choose a preferred start date and we will coordinate the three trips around operating days and conditions.
Maximum 5 divers per instructor on boat dives and up to 4 per instructor in cenotes — the same ratios as our individual trips.
The package price includes our multi-day discount — save compared with booking all three trips individually.
The Winter Woahs! package brings together three of the Riviera Maya’s most memorable dive environments at the time of year when bull sharks visit Playa del Carmen. Across three separate days you will drift over the reefs and walls of Cozumel Marine Park, observe bull sharks in their natural environment before a second dive on a shallow Playa reef, and explore the crystal-clear freshwater caverns of the cenotes — six guided dives with our multi-day savings already included.
This package is designed for experienced divers visiting during bull shark season, typically from mid-November to mid-February. It combines a seasonal wildlife encounter with two year-round highlights, giving you dramatic walls, thriving Caribbean reefs, open-water wildlife, and the geological world beneath the Mayan jungle in one coordinated plan.

An exhilarating, yet calm dive with bull sharks in their natural environment.
Descend to Shark Point for a calm, observation-only encounter with bull sharks in their natural environment, without bait or feeding. After the surface interval, complete a second dive on a nearby, shallower Playa del Carmen reef. Trips normally run on selected afternoons during the winter season.
We do not use bait or feed the sharks. The encounter is focused on watching their natural, calm behavior.
The bull shark observation dive is followed by a second dive on a nearby, shallower Playa del Carmen reef.
Descend by fixed line to the sandy observation area at approximately 27m / 90ft.
The season typically runs from mid-November to mid-February, with exact dates guided by shark activity and local operations.
A detailed briefing covers shark behavior, positioning, communication, current, and the plan for the dive.
Bottom time is limited by no-decompression limits, gas, conditions, and the overall group plan.
Sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the bull shark observation fee is refunded if the sharks are not seen or are only glimpsed briefly in the distance.

Stalactites, stalagmites, laser sunbeams, haloclines, and fossils in the rock—each site has its own personality.
This package is for Advanced Open Water divers or equivalent with recent dive experience who are visiting during the winter bull shark season and are comfortable with deeper profiles, current, and precise buoyancy control.
The bull shark observation area is approximately 27m / 90ft, and typical Cozumel wall profiles may also go beyond Open Water training limits. The cenotes require good buoyancy and horizontal trim to protect their delicate overhead environment. If you are Open Water certified and have suitable recent experience, SDI Deep Adventure training may be possible after a prior skills assessment — contact us before booking so we can review your experience and schedule.
Our bull shark trip is for observation only. We do not use bait or feed the sharks. Their movements, distance from the group, and time in the area are entirely their own, which means sightings and close approaches cannot be guaranteed.
The package includes the bull shark observation fee. If no bull sharks are seen, or they are only glimpsed briefly in the distance, we apply the same refund of that fee offered on the individual trip. Weather, port decisions, regulations, and shark activity may also affect the operating schedule, so flexibility is important.
When you book Winter Woahs! online, choose a preferred start date. After your deposit is confirmed, our team will plan your three dive days around your vacation and the bull shark operating schedule. Shark trips generally run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons during the season, while Cozumel Direct and cenote trips normally depart in the morning.
If you have specific dates in mind, mention them in the notes at checkout or contact us before booking. We will account for your certification, recent experience, weather, sea conditions, and current shark activity when arranging the itinerary.
The three trips are listed in a suggested order, but the final sequence may change to make the best use of conditions and availability.
If your dates fall outside bull shark season, take a look at our Full Experience package for a year-round three-day combination of Playa reefs, Cozumel, and cenotes.
