Ten dives, one coastline — and the best per-tank price we offer

The Boatylicious package is for certified divers who came to Playa del Carmen to dive — properly, repeatedly, and without paying ferry fares or cenote entry fees they did not ask for. Five separate two-tank boat trips give you ten guided reef dives on the local Caribbean reef system, with our multi-day savings already built into the price. Spread them across five easy mornings, or compress the same ten dives into as few as three calendar days when you are happy to stack a morning and afternoon on the same day.

Playa’s reefs sit minutes from the beach, and they change character from site to site. Schools of grunts and snapper hang over healthy hard and soft corals at Sabalos and MocChe; turtles cruise the sand edges at Tortugas and Punta Venado; sponge gardens glow at Jardines; and the Mama Viña wreck waits at depth for divers with the certification and comfort to explore her hull. Five boat days gives us enough runway to show you different faces of the same coastline — not the same profile twice, not a rushed sampler, but a proper week on the water if you want it that way.

This is the package we recommend when your priority is maximum dives for your money and you are happy to stay on Playa’s boats. No cenotes, no Cozumel crossing — just reef life, small groups, Nitrox at no extra charge for certified divers, and a per-dive price that beats booking five separate two-tank days one at a time.

What the package includes

Five Playa del Carmen boat days — 10 dives total

Our local reefs are full of marine life waiting for you to explore.

Summary

Five separate two-tank boat trips from our Playa del Carmen fleet — ten guided reef dives in total. We mix morning deep and drift profiles (up to 30m / 100ft on the right sites) with afternoon shallower Caribbean reefs (up to 12m / 40ft) depending on your certification, experience, and how many dives you want per calendar day. Nitrox tanks at no extra charge for certified divers; marine park fees included on every trip.

How we pace your ten dives

You book five two-tank trips. How those land on the calendar is up to you and our team:

PaceTypical scheduleBest for
Relaxed2 dives per day × 5 daysLonger vacations, easy mornings, time for non-diving plans
Mixed2 dives most days, 4 dives on one or two daysA balance of rest days and a big dive day when conditions are good
Compressed4 + 4 + 2 dives across 3 daysShort trips, experienced divers who manage surface intervals well

Morning and afternoon each count as a separate trip for scheduling and for our multi-day discount — so a four-dive day is genuinely two boat departures, with a surface interval back at the dive center between them. We will never rush you onto the third tank; the package is always ten dives, never eleven.

How we choose your sites

We do not run the same two-tank loop five times and call it a package. After you book, our team looks at your certification level, recent dive history, and comfort with depth and drift — then builds a day-by-day plan across your five boat days.

  • Open Water divers who have been out of the water for a while might start on forgiving afternoon profiles at MocChe or Jardines before we move toward deeper morning walls — or we may suggest a short pool refresh before your first deep departure if it has been more than a year since your last dive.
  • Experienced Open Water divers with recent logbook entries can expect a wider rotation: Tortugas sponge gardens, Sabalos with its schools of fish, Punta Venado’s reef structure, and deeper morning lines kept within your training limits unless you choose to add formal deep training with us.
  • Advanced Open Water divers (and above) unlock the full morning menu, including the Mama Viña wreck, longer drift profiles, and site combinations we reserve for divers comfortable to 30m / 100ft.

We try not to take you to the same place twice when we can help it. Conditions, seasonal wildlife, and what you tell us at checkout all feed into the final plan — and we will always talk it through with you before you hit the water.

Who is this package for?

Certified divers (Open Water or equivalent) who want as much reef diving as possible while they are in Playa — without mixing in cenotes, Cozumel, or training unless they add it separately.

If you want a three-day introduction to reef, cenote, and Cozumel, take a look at our Full Experience package. If you want eight dives with a Cozumel finish but fewer Playa days, the Sea More package may suit you better. If you are visiting in summer and want whale sharks in the mix, see Summer Lovin’.

Real people, real plans

When you book Boatylicious online, you choose a preferred start date. After your deposit is confirmed, our team reaches out to plan your five boat days around your vacation — and if you are booking for a trip within the next few days we will also need to consider the weather and sea conditions.

If you have specific dates in mind, or a strong preference for a three-day blitz versus five relaxed mornings, mention it in the notes at checkout or contact us before booking — we are happy to work around your itinerary.

This package does not force you into a strict cookie-cutter dive itinerary. Once you book, our team will reach out to ensure we are putting together the right plan day-by-day.

  • If it has been a while since your last dives we will discuss the option of doing a short scuba refresh session in the pool prior to your first morning — or scheduling easier afternoon reef days before we move into the deeper morning profiles.
  • If you are not already Advanced certified then we will look into precise scheduling regarding the dives to find a schedule where we can either keep you no deeper than your previous training limits or look at the option of completing a small amount of formal deep training to allow us to unlock some of the deeper sites with you.
  • If you are visiting November through February and bull shark season is running, ask us about adding a bull shark observation dive — it is not part of this package, but we can often work one into your Playa mornings when conditions allow.

If you are not yet certified then take a look at our Learn to dive courses first — or contact us to discuss options.

Discounts, schedule & booking

Discounts

The package price combines all five boat days and applies our multi-day discount automatically. You will see the full list price crossed out alongside the discounted cash and card totals on this page — the savings are real, not a marketing gimmick.
*Hint: Because this is a multi-day plan, any additional days of diving you book will immediately also inherit the multi-day discount. Booking a morning and an afternoon on the same calendar day counts as two dive days toward our multi-day discount — so you may unlock even deeper savings if you choose a compressed schedule.
