As with most things in life there are risks associated with scuba diving.
Before diving it is important to assess our medical fitness to reduce unnecessary risks.
The paperwork that you will be required to complete prior to engaging with a dive or course depends on the type of dive you will take part in.
Probably not. But maybe…
As you will see from the forms which you can access using the links to the left there are medical questionnaires you might need to complete.
If none of the medical statements listed apply to you, then you will not be required to see a doctor prior to diving. These are self certified medical forms, so of course it is important you answer the questions honestly!
If you do need to answer yes to any of the questions then you will need have a doctor verify that you are medically fit for diving. This can be done either back home or here in Mexico. It is essential that the medical approval is given prior to your arrival time for your dive/course. It is not usually possible to obtain a medical approval on the morning of your booking.
Yes. This is why we have shared all the documentation here so you can read through the information carefully before making a reservation and before diving with us.
We might ask you to complete some forms online ahead of time and we might have you complete some of these forms when you arrive for your dive/course.
These forms need to be completed in order for us to be able to take you diving. If you are not comfortable or do not agree with statements in the forms then you should not sign the forms. Deciding not sign the paperwork will be treated as you cancelling your reservation and any refunds/vouchers will be issued according to our booking terms and conditions.
We think so. But if you want to make 100% sure that we have shared all of the required paperwork with you before your dives then please get in touch with us and we will be able to confirm if there are any additional forms required.

Have you ever had or do you currently have…
These are the core medical questions associated with PADI Discover Scuba Diving. If you need to answer YES to any of these questions you would need medical sign-off from a doctor.
This is only a quick check to help you right now. Before booking any training you should check the full medical and liability statements associated with the course.
We proudly take our divers in small groups to provide the best service.
Small groups allow us to focus our time and attention on you to make sure you have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.
